Delhi to host India’s first, truly global World SME Conference

On the 12th & 13th December2008, MilagrowBusiness and Knowledge SolutionsPvt। Ltd. is hosting India’s first truly global World SME Conference at the Le Meridien, New Delhi. Speaking on the timing of the conference,Mr. Rajeev Karwal,Founder Director,Milagrow Business and Knowledge Solutionssaid“We planned this conference about a year ago but there can be no better time than the current macro and micro economic environment in which the SMEs are operating.”The conference will highlight the issues of SMEs from across the globe and share best practices. The Ministry of MSME fully supports the event. Speaking on the conference Mr. Dinesh Rai, Secretary, Ministry of MSME said “MSME development is one of key imperatives for long term Economic Growth. Even though many programmes, facilities and incentives have been rolled out for the MSME sector, there is a vast scope of further improvement. More path-breaking solutions are needed to extract the maximum out of the current investments in the MSME Sector. World SME Conference is an excellent platform that would enable MSMEs, government and private bodies to discuss and debate new strategies for the development of MSMEs in India.”



The theme of the conference is ‘Get Set Grow’ and 50 speakers including 20 international ones will speak at the conference. The agenda includes mentoring workshops, panel discussions and research studies.
