Importance of Recycled Plastics

With the increasing demand of plastic in modern era, plastic recycled industries are growing because they have also taken the responsibility to take care of the environment. Almost all major manufacturing industries are somehow related with plastic, so the recycled plastics have widely used. They have also finished recycled related problems or loops; moreover, within the last decade several viable methods for recycling have been developed. The public's desire to save landfill space and improve the environment has boosted business opportunities for recycling manufacturers and has resulted in the dramatic growth of the plastics recycling industry. Nationally, plastics make up 18 percent of landfill waste by volume. Not only does recycled plastic save trees, but it also reduces landfill usage. Milk jugs, pop bottles, and plastic bags, as well as many other forms of post-consumer and post-industrial waste, are the main ingredients in recycled plastic. More than 200 million pounds of plastic soft drink containers recycled in the United States are currently used in making carpeting, fiberfill stuffing for jackets, lumber, piping and others.

Different countries like U.S, U.K, Canada and many have inspired using the recycled plastics. Everyday trillions of plastics are used all over the world, if they are thrown away instead of recycling then environment would be the ultimate victim of extreme pollution; so, recycling process has to be emphasized a lot. The Environment and Plastics Institute of Canada (EPIC), a materials supplier association, is helping Canadian Waste Exchanges to increase the recycling of plastics.
